- When to Go
The museum is closed July 4, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
- Save Money
Discovery World and Imax shows have additional admission prices, but admission to the museum is free on Mondays for Milwaukee residents with ID.

I have been visiting that museum for over 60 years since I was a child and it has only gone through one change and it's called improvement. The educational challenges presented at our museum are absolutely outstanding particularly for the children, as well as, the adults.

I can't even count how many times I have been to the Milwaukee Public Museum. I have so much fun watching my kids and nieces & nephews reaction to some of the exhibits. The butterfly exhibit is really neat.
